V anniversary of the back nine renovation in Real Club de Golf Las Brisas

On October 30,  2.020, was the 5 year anniversary of the full renovation of holes 10 to 18 of the Real Club de Golf Las Brisas, where we were honoured to be involved as project managers and had the privilege to work with the prestigious golf course architect Kyle Phillips. The renovation of the back nine holes included a full renovation of greens, tees, bunkers, paths, irrigation, drainage, sand-capping and grow-in of all playing surfaces.

This renovation, was a leading example of how a successful golf course renovation project has to be undertaken to guarantee good results and the return of the investment. It involved a technically complex execution of works, and very tight work deadlines. The successful result, was only possible thanks to that the Club had very clear their intentions regarding the renovation works and quality; and to work with a renowned golf course architect such as Kyle Phillips, an experienced contractor, and a contrasted project manager.

As a project manager, I will always proudly say that the back nine renovation in Real Club de Golf Las Brisas, is the perfect example to follow for Club Boards or Club Owners that are willing to undertake a similar project.

We want to commend the Real Club de Golf Las Brisas for its permanent commitment to excellence and give our most sincere congratulations to the teams led by Paul Muñoz Langley and Rafael González-Carrascosa, general manager and head greenkeeper of a club that offers top-level conditions every day as expected from one of the best clubs in the world.
